Though a buck is obviously not the one making the milk, we still believe they are equally important in breed improvement. That is why we have bucks that are so extraordinary. Some people may say we don't need as many bucks as we have with our relatively small number of does because of the maintenance and of course the smell. Well our bucks are far away from the house and we happen to love the little guys.

1 x RsCH Senior Buck, 4 x GCH Senior Buck, 2 x RsCH Buck, 3 x GCH Buck Sire of 2003 National Junior Champion Doe; Winner of 2003 National Junior Get of Sire!
Thank you, thank you, thank you Kellye Bussey for allowing Weisy to join our breeding program. Weisbaden is a proven sire with so many gorgeous kids on the ground. He excels in breed character, general appearance, dairy ability, and power, and the strength of his pedigree is amazing! He consistently passes on great general appearance, dead level top lines, fantastic length of body, and his kids tend to stand very correct as well. He will work hard in our breeding program now as he will be bred to many does. We expect him to continue his tradition of awesome kids here in our herd. Last updated: 3/10/05 |

3xGCH; 3xRGCH; 3xSrCh; 3xRsSrCh 1 x Get of Sire winner Pegasus is a really nice buck and he has helped our breeding program immensely. He is a buck with a great leg set, which he inherits from his sire, and a nice rump and set of shoulders. His shoulders are so nice that he got a 95 on them for his classification. His kids have consistently inherited his long, clean neck and wonderful front end assembly. They have also been level, and wide. Time and again Pegasus' daughters have been improvements over their dams. As a 4 year old, Pegasus received his third and final leg, making him a MCH, but his real accomplishments have been the success his daughters have seen the last few years, being consistently correct in confirmation, and major improvements over their dams in udders, specifically in capacity and attachment.

4xGCH; 2xSrCh;RsSrCh Rio is long, dairy and as wide as can be. He is so angular. He has a pedigree to die for and a personality to match! His first kids were nice and we can't wait to see some more kids of his. They have been consistent with great substance of bone, very correct feet and legs and impeccable dairy character. Unfortunately, Rio's first couple of seasons were filled with sons. Finally, Rio has given us a couple of daughters, and already we can see they have improved their dam's dairy character. We look forward to his first daughters freshening next year. Last updated: 12/05/06 |

RJrCh T-Bird is a very nice young buck. We have not used him yet extensively, but look forward to doing so in the future. His confirmation is very much like that of his parents. He is VERY dairy, and we look forward to seeing him grow and showing him more this season. T-Bird's littermate is our doe Terri, who was a very competitive first freshener last year, earning her first leg. So far, T-Bird's kids have been exactly what we expected- fantastic. They are wide and dairy. Last updated: 12/05/06 |
